1 Month

Well as many of you may know and for those of you that don't. I quit my job with Texas Children's ObGyn as of January 20, 2009. And started my new job with Care for Women ObGyn on February 2, 2009. On Monday I will have been with my current employer for 1 whole month. And I must say I LOVE my job. It is so nice to say that since I have been so miserable for the past 3 years. I miss my co-workers with TCH but not the physician I worked for or the managment team. (If you really want to call them that) Since being here, I wake up every morning and I am ready to go to work. And dont mind being there while im there. I go home at the end of the day basically stress free. And i have not been able to say that in a LONG time. And I am pretty sure my husband even likes me a little more since I dont tend to bring work stresses and drama home anymore.
So if anyone of you out there is not happy in your current situation. My advise to you would be to make a change. It deffinantly was worked out for me. I feel like I have literally went from Hell to Heaven. Instead of the other way around :)

People are so nice

Don't you just LOVE it when people do nice things to your stuff. Jeff went to get a hair cut on Saturday, and walked out to his truck to find that some nice person threw a huge piece of cement into the passenger side of the front windshield. I am so glad that someone thought that we needed a new windshield. What would we have done with them?

So Thank you to whoever you are. I am just glad that your ignorance was covered by my insurance and only cost me $50.00.

Lori's Bachlorette Party

This weekend the girls all got together to give Lori an awesome getting hitched party. We loaded up the car on Friday night and headed to Boerne to Kristi's house. Once we arrived Friday night we all just pretty much hung out and got all caught up, and hit the hey early. Saturday we had her lingerie party, and then went to lunch at a brewery on the river. And then of course we had to get in a little shopping on Main street before returning to the house. Around 2:30 our limo showed up to take us out for the evening. We spend the all day hitting all the great wineries around Fredricksburg and then for a stop at Luchenbach. You know "Where everybody is somebody in Luchenbach."
We all had a little to much wine to drink but we had alot of fun. I think Lori really enjoyed herself. And mucho thanks to Kristi for letting us crash at her house for 2 days.

Couple's Shower

This post is a continuation of one a few days ago. Sorry for the delay! Two weeks ago all of our friends were in town for Scott and Lori's couples shower. They are getting married on March 17 in Las Vegas, NV so what better way to decorate for the shower than casino style.. We had lots of Burgers, Beer and Fun! I think everyone had a great time. But again when ever the 7 of us get together we always have a BLAST!

After the shower we all came back to our house and we out to Mulligan's Bar and Grill. For some MORE food and beverages and dancing with Scott.

I love my husband

I think I have pretty much the best husband in the whole world. Im just not sure if I show him enough just how much I appreciate him. He is so good to me! Last week when we found out that our 3rd IUI did not work out again of course I feel apart. And once again he was there trying to pick up the pieces, even though his heart was broke too. Unless you have gone through the same thing or something similar it is hard to describe how it feels to want something so bad and for whatever reason you cant have it.
Anyways, I spent the whole day upset and questioning why this is happening to us. Jeff just kept telling me that "everything is going to be Ok". That is when I snapped at him and told him that unless he KNEW that all was going to be alright, to please stop telling me that. That, that was the worst thing he could tell me because he didn't know. I just feel like my world is completely consumed with pregnancy. I work in it, I live it and I sleep it. It's every where I go.
OK so to get to my point. When Jeff came home from work the brought me the prettiest flowers ever. He told me that he was sorry for what he said and he was sorry that again it didnt work out for us. But he knew in his heart that one day it will happen. And we both have to believe that. Just little things he does and say's is why I love him so much.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

This Valentine's Day has been great. And I think I have the sweetest husband in the world. While I was at work yesterday he sent me a dozen mixed tulips. To which besides my 30th birthday last year I cant remember the last time that he ever sent me flowers to work. So to say the least I was pretty excited. So I thought I was having a pretty good valentine's. That was until this morning when he gave me my "real" present. I have been wanting a car charger for my new cell phone and for whatever reason I have just never went to get one. So being the thoughtful fuy he is he bought me my car charger and a screen cover for my iPhone. Then he brought in another bag for me to open. He bought me the heart strings pendant and necklace that I have been wanting from James Avery. I thought I was going to cry. He is so good to me!!!

We decided not to go out to eat for VDay because everytime we do it seems that we always get horrible service. So Jeff decided to cook me my favorite, Steak and twice baked potatoes. Yummy!!! I cant wait till dinner time.

Last Friday our friends Ryan and Kristi Schmidt and Gary all came into town for the weekend. We always have so much fun when ever we can all get together. The boys made plans to go to dinner Friday night at Rudy Lechner's. As much as I try to deny it, and as corney as I think the restaurant really is, I think it is growing on me. Basically Rudy's is a German restaurant complete with a 2 man live polka band. The highlight of the night is always at the end of the meal when every one orders GoodNight Coffee's. I dont care for coffee so I never order one but ir is a BIG production when they are made. This trip though I think I may have had to many beers cause I did drink 1/2 of Jeff's coffee. And it was YUMMY.

Jennifer's Baby Shower

This post is coming to you a little late. But seriously, what else is new around here. Anyways we went home again 2 weeks ago to celebrate Jennifer's upcoming arrival of baby Benjamin Heath. We had a great time and her shower turned out great. While the girls were babying it up in the house all the boys were having their own party outside. I dont have any pictures of the guys but I think they all had a great time as well.
