A summer night

After we got home from Dallas Saturday evening. We all hung out in the back yard a watched Kinley play in her splash pool and then ate some super juicy watermelon. I think Kinley thoroughly enjoyed her's.

Meeting Camryn

This past Saturday me, my parents, Shelly, Jeffrey and Kinley went to Dallas to see Camryn. We had a good visit and I was able to get in some good Camryn lovins. She was such a good baby. I don't think she cried the whole time we were there. Cant wait till the end of the month when we get to spend some more time together.

Sweet Boy

We attempted to try and get some pictures of Nana, Papa, Camryn, Kinley and Connor. Between the 3 of photographers this was the best that I could get. I think its funny, but you should see some of the others!
And this is Connor. Before we left he came running in the living room with his pants around his ankles as to say.. "hello people, could someone put the baby down and take me to the potty, i gotta go!"

Popsicles....

Jeff thought it would be a good idea last night to give our 1st born his 1st popsicle! Of course he had to choose blue, but Spencer didn't care in the least that it turned is tongue and beard a lovely new color. It was so funny he keep looking at me like he knew he was not supposed to have it, yet daddy was letting him so he was just going to keep on lickin' it up until someone took it away. Momma just figured it is 100 degrees outside and a little sugar free popsicle couldn't hurt him to bad!

He took me somewhere!

I always give Jeff a hard time that he never takes me anywhere. So this weekend he had a great idea to go to lunch in the medical center and then go down to the galleria and see the water wall. It was really cool. I always hear people talking about it and how neat it is and they are correct! Basically it is a 64 foot fountain that spills 11,000 gallons of water per minute.

While we were there we also got a couple of really cool pictures of Williams Tower. The Williams Tower was actually constructed as two 32-story buildings stacked on top of each other. It is the 4th tallest building in Texas, 22nd tallest in the United States and 66th in the world. Pretty neat-O huh.

Just A Few More

Well I don't usually post about the same thing in 3 different posts'. But I wanted to share the new pictures that I received from my mom and dads visit with Camryn today. Isn't she just so darn cute! And just think after I finally get to meet her next weekend, there may just be another post about her. You'll just have to wait and see! But until then you can enjoy these.

My sister Jamie has finally delivered my newest niece this morning. Miss Camryn LeAnn Colvert has made her arrival 2 weeks early via c/section at 7:52am, weighing in at 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20 inches long. Auntie M wont get to meet her new girl until next weekend. I guess that is the joys of living 5 hours apart. :(

Johnny & Me

On Saturday at the reunion we were able to get to spend sometime with my papaw's little brother Johnny. The older I get I seem to cherish times like these that I get to spend with my family. I miss both of my grandparents something awful and wish more than anything that they were both still with us. However getting to see and spend some time with my great-uncle on his 85th birthday is pretty special. Not to mention just how much he looks like my papaw.

Bailey Family Reunion

This past Saturday we had our Bailey family reunion (moms side of the fam.) We all got together in Hewitt at warren park. Everyone had a pretty good time despite the heat. Of course it is always good to see everyone but this year was alittle extra special. It was my grandfathers brother, my great- uncle Johnny's 85th birthday.
