The weather over the past few weeks has been a little weird. Since Christmas we have had temps from the 40's to the 80's. So a couple of weeks ago we decided to go for a little "drive" and hang out at the park for a little bit since the weather was nice and Macy wasn't sick.

So we got all dressed up in our park attire....



And head out to drive to the park...

and went swinging again.



We can't wait for the weather to warm up a little and stay nice out so we can spend more family days at the park. Not to mention drive that stinkin' cute car that Santa brought.

13 Months Old

*post is 3 weeks late i know.... sorry kinda busy raisin a kid here!

Seriously...... 13 months already? I swear we just celebrated your 1st birthday and now we are on our way down the road to number 2. Gee Wiz

She can't even believe it!

Stats:

Weight- 20pounds

Length-30"

Size 3 dipers.

Size 12 month shirts

Size 9 month pants

You did however wear 3-6 month shorts this weekend.

Size 3-4 shoe... depending on the width.

You are a BIG girl now and no longer want to be rocked to sleep at all. But when your sick thats a different story.

You have turned into a bit of a drama queen, and when you dont get your way to will go stand with your face in the wall (not sure where you learned that one) or you will throw yourself on the floor. But when we walk off... fits over!


You dont like to be in a room by yourself. I keep telling daddy you need a brother or a sister but he's doesnt think so.



Your still sleeping from 8pm-7:30/8:00am

4 teeth on top and still just 2 on the bottom

You still have not said mama or dada, however you will wave and say byebye, you have tried a few times to say Spencer and it comes out like Fence'der, and only when you want you'll say "whats that?"



You got your 2nd, 3rd and 4th ear infection this month.. So we are off to see the ENT to see about tubes. =(

You'r BIG life change this month would have to be that we decided to put in in daycare "school". You have been with your sitters Mrs. Neomi and Mrs. Emma since you were 15 weeks old. This was such a hard decison for us but I think it was time. So far you have adjusted pretty good however I can tell you miss them.

Macy,

You are such a sweet girl. And it breaks my heart that you are growing up so fast. My baby is slipping through my fingers and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Ive said it before and ill say it again... I am so glad that God picked me and your daddy to be your parents. I dont know what we would have ever done with out you.

Merry Christmas

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. Macy definitely understood a little more than she did last year. Christmas Eve we spent with my family. We did the same as last year and only bought for the kids which seems to work out really well.. And is so much fun seeing them get excited about the gifts they receive.

Since my sisters new house is being built and she is living at my parents house until it is finished. Santa this year visited Macy & Kinley at Nana and Papa's house. I loved watching how excited Kinley was to set out the milk and cookies and then see them gone the next morning. But even more, I am so thankful Macy was able to celebrate Christmas morning with her. I don't know if Macy will ever have a sibling so it was pretty special to me to see her have some one by her side.
The girls must have been pretty good this year because the Big Guy sure did good!

Christmas Night we spent with Jeffs family for dinner and gift exchange. And had a good time as always.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

12 months old

Well our hippo pics were definitely a lot harder to take this year. She is a MOVER and a SHAKER that's for sure!

Stats:
Weight: 19.4 (19th percentile)
Height: 30'' (74th percentile)
We have a petite little lady on our hands! ;)

• You are fully on whole milk now.

• Size 3 diapers
  

• Table foods...carrots are you favorite!
  

• No more bed time bottles.

• You will only let me rock you at bed time for about 5 minutes and then you are ready to go to sleep on your own.. And that's IF you will let me rock you.

• You are walking/running all over this house.

• You are obsessed with TV remotes, phones & computers.
  

• You are still a great sleeper... 7:30/8pm-7:15 am and most morning I have to wake you up.

• You have 2 bottom teeth, 2 incisors, and you are finally cutting your 2 front teeth... HOPEFULLY those will come through on Christmas! ;)

• You's still not talking or say any words yet, however you know what we are talking about and will bring us things we ask for.
  

• If some one asks you how old you are, you will hold up your finger (1) SO Stinkin Cute!

We can not believe that you are a whole year old. You have brought such joy and laughter to this house and I honestly don't know what we ever did with out you. I am so excited about watching you grow and learn more over this next year. It is crazy to me to think about what I will be writing about this time next year. You have went from a completely helpless newborn baby to a strong willed and an independent as can be at this point toddler. Blows my mind!

I can not believe that my sweet girl is ONE year old! I know everyone says it but I swear I was just in the hospital and bringing her home yesterday.... wasnt I?

Macy's birthday was Saturday December 10, and we celebrated her day with a candy themed party at Nana & Papa's house. We had a really good turn out of family and friends and everyone had such a good time.
