My Poor Baby

Well yesterday started off pretty much like a regular old day. I got up early and took Spencer to the groomer. He hates the groomer I might add and I don't really even know why. I cant imagine hating to be pampered. So I dropped him off and I went to the post office and then to the grocery store then came home and unloaded everything. I left the house again about 12:15 to go pick up Spencer by 12:30. You see he hates it so much that I tell them that he must be out with in 4 hours. One we got back home I was watching TV and he took a nap. After he woke up he came over to me to let me know he need to go outside, so I let him out and then it all started......

As soon as he stepped outside he immediately wanted to come back in the house. But he tripped over his front legs twice. I picked him up and sat him back in the house and his whole little body just started jerking and flopping everywhere. Then he just became very stiff and his back leg was up around his head, and his head was bend as far back as he could get it. He started crying and whining. I fell to the floor and started crying and petting him, telling him that everything was going to be ok. Knowing that I had no idea if it would be. Everything that I would touch him he would cry even louder. It was horrible and broke every piece of my heart. I honestly thought to myself that my poor Spencer was going to die right then. It only lasted about 30 seconds to a minute, but it seemed like forever. After it was all over he looked extremely tired and just didn't move. I swept him up and off to the vet we went. Thank the Lord it is only 2 minutes from my house. As soon as we walked in the door, the receptionist noticed that I had been crying and immediately just put us in a room in front of everyone else that was there. (I'm sorry everyone). The doctor came in and confirmed my worst fear about what had just happened. My poor baby had, had a seizure. They did a lot of blood work so we should know more today or Saturday. If his labs come back normal we pretty much do nothing, if they come back abnormal then we have a few choices, one being medication and the other again just watching to see if he has another. We are hoping that it is all normal and that he never has another. His momma cant handle another!!! Please say a little prayer for my sweet baby that he never has to go through another one of those again.

Waco Weekend Part 4: RIBBIT

Well this is the last post of our Waco weekend (that actually took place almost 2 weeks ago) when we spent time hanging out the with little FROG. This kid is so funny!!! She was playing around on the bed so we decided to put some gloves on her hands a feet. She thought it is was hilarious and for that matter me and her mother we laughing so hard we almost pee'd ourselves. "Kinley baby, me and your mother were not laughing at you, we promise we were laughing with you."

I have to add in a couple of other favorite pictures from the weekend. I just thought these 2 were precious. And shows what a sweet baby girl she is.

** Well now that all the pictures of our Waco Weekend are posted. I might as well go ahead and tell you that in just 2 short days we will be headed back. We have a few more things planned for this weekend so make sure you stay tuned for that as well.**

Waco Weekend Part 3: Birthday's, Birthday's and more Birthday's

You heard me right. While we were home we had to celebrate 4 birthdays. My moms birthday was on January 18, Jeff's mom's was on January 20th, his sisters on the January 24th, and his dad's who's is on the January 28th. We all decided to make it easier on everyone and all go out to dinner together. We decided on LaFiesta for some good ole' Mexican food and margaritas. And not just any margarita's Coconut Margarita's. We all had a good time, but we missed Jennifer being there. We got Kinley and Abby together for the first time and I think even they had a good time. Before We left we gave everyone their gifts. And if I do say so myself I think they all got some pretty good stuff. One being mom with her new digital camera from Paul and Judy and her new big clock.
After dinner me and Jeff went over to Shelly and Jeff's to spend the night before heading out on Monday. It was nice to be able to stay an extra day due to the holiday. So stay tuned for that because Ihave some pretty funny pictures of" froggy" kinley.

Waco Weekend Part 2: Hanging out with Connor

Getting to hang out with Connor, Jamie and Jeremy was only one of the many things that we got to do last weekend. The only thing i regret of the weekend is not getting a picture of his football PJ's that his parents literally squeezed him into. It was quite hilarious. He is getting so big and changes so much each time I see him. Jamie is pregnant again so this year should be real fun when the new baby gets here. The big question around the house right now is, are we getting another boy or a sweet little girl. I think little man is in for a big surprise either way though.

Waco Weekend Part 1.. The Westerfeld/Anderson Wedding

I am a little late with this post. But better late than never right. Last weekend we went home to Waco and attended a wedding for a couple of friends. Cort Anderson who Jeff has know since elementary school, and Stacie Westerfeld who I have know for as long as I can remember. Their wedding was beautiful and the reception was alot of fun. I have posted a few pictures of the night. However they are not really that great. It is hard to take good pictures when you busy dancing and drinking.

I MET KATE GOSSELIN

That's right folk's, I met Kate Gosselin. Last night me and my friend Lori we to "Girls Night Out". It's a christian ministry called Proverbs 31, with speakers Lysa TerKeurst, Renee Swope, and special guest Kate Gosselin. It was so much fun and very inspirational. The bottom line of the whole night was that we all just need to give our cares and worries to the Lord and let it be, he will provide for each and everyone of us if we will just let him. I walked in that church not knowing what to expect from the night just extremely excited to see Kate. Little did I know how I was going to feel when I left. You see 2 weeks ago I recieved an email from Ticket Servant. Which is the company that I bought my tickets through. They were asking for a question to be written that the girls could go through and possible answer live during their show. So I thought about it for a couple of days, wrote my question, and sent the email back. And pretty much forgot about it after that. Many of you know that me and Jeff are going through some fertility issues, but what you dont know is that after reading Kate's book Multiple Bles8ings we faced the same issues and are going through the same treatment. My question was "Kate, How did you deal emotionally with your infertility issues"? Her response to my question was this "You have to just let it go. Jesus will provide and give you your baby when it is time. And if not there is another plan for you". I left there knowing that there was absoluty no amount of treatment or trying for that matter that could give us a baby. I just have to let it be and wait on him to provide. After the service was over the best part came. She was signing her book and lucky me I brought mine. So I stood in line with Lori, who I might add had to be up and going to work the next morning. And it was already 10:45pm and she had a 45 minute drive ahead of her. (I LOVE YOU LORI, YOUR THE BEST) We finally got to the front of the line and I was able to have my book signed and meet Kate. AND have my picture taken. Even though it is a horrible picture I have a picture! All in all it was a Great Night!

Inauguration 2009

Good Bye Mr. President. Thank you for all you have done for us and for our country. We truly appreciate everything. It has been an eventful and yet an unforgettable 8 years.

No matter what everyone's political view are, the bottom line is that we must all put our differences aside and come together as one and move forward.

The whole process of choosing and swearing in a president to me is amazing. I am just glad that I live in a country where it is all possible. God Bless America!

Auntie M & Kinley

Well I just thought I did not have anything to blog about. I almost forgot my most favorite pictures from Christmas. I got a couple of pictures of me and Kinley at mom's after we finished opening presents. She is such a ham! I love this little girl so much and I cant stand being so far away from her. I feel like I miss so much of her growing up. And I can't stand it! Hope you enjoy the few pictures that I did get of the two of us. She is such a little worm that I am just glad I got her to sit still long enough to even get one shot.
I titled this post AUNTIE M and Kinley. However my mother has taught her to call me M&M since she cant say Auntie M. SO well just have to see exactly what she ends up calling me.

I GOT NOTHIN'

Well folks as you could probably tell from the lack of blogging. There is not much going on around the Herring Household right now. So unfortunately I don't have anything to write about. However we are going out of town this weekend and have a couple of things planned so maybe, just maybe I'll have some good new pics to post after the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed..

I told you I was ADDICTED

I know most of you think I am crazy. But WHATEVER!!! But for Christmas Jeff's sister bought me the book Multiple Bles8ings, by Jon & Kate Gosslelin. I started reading it last Wednesday and finished it last night. I am not sure why I am in love with this family. But for whatever reason I am. Like I said before I realize on TV Kate is a total nut case. But after reading their book. I can not disagree with one decision they made for their family. I know that without a doubt if me and Jeff were faced with any of the same decision to make. We would do exactly the same.

So for the ones out there that cant stand her. Please for once take my word on it and read the book. You wont be able to put it down I promise.

HIGHLIGHTER

Ok a bit of history.... When my mom was in High School she was on the drill team. To which she was called a "HIGHLIGHTER." To this day me and my sister have no idea why she only remembers ONE dance. But for all these years we have all know which one it is........ So you have probably guessed where this is going by now. She has managed to teach Kinley how to be a highlighter. And not only that but she has taught her that ONE dance. But I will admit it is pretty darn cute. I wish I had some video of her but for now all I have is a couple of pictures.

You can only imagine how proud Nana is!!!

Get Your Motor's Running

Head out on the highway.... Lookin for adventure.......

How cute are my niece and nephew. Connor and Kinley got these cool 4 wheelers from Nana and Papa for Christmas. Connor was all over his before we could get it out of the box. It was too windy to take them out side for a ride so they just rode all over the living room. Either way they did didn't care.

Connor and Kinley on their 4wheelers

"Connor, are you ready to blow this joint?"

And their OFF...

Kinley burning up the road already.
As I said earlier. He couldn't wait to get it
out of the box....
